I’m a team player. I love working with teams as a Women’s Ministry Director, in missions, and in my online opportunities. God has blessed me with a place on 3 online teams. Each focuses on reaching women with the message of God’s peace through His truth, though each has a unique voice and approach. Ultimately, we are all on the same team!
You will find me writing for Christian women each month for these team contributor sites, but I also enjoy the occasional chance to have freelance articles in a variety of publications. Someday I hope I’ll have a “real book” to share with you! Any time I have something published, I’ll do a happy dance and share it with you through the CHP Facebook page.
My love for mentoring women comes together with my heart for moms in The MOM Initiative. About 25 moms from all over the United States write about practical, helpful, truth-filled topics for women trying to walk out the motherhood journey God’s way. I love how these sisters of mine pour heaps of encouragement out for mothers and sprinkle it with reliable information and wisdom from their combined and varied experiences.
TMI founder Stephanie says, “IF THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE RULES THE WORLD – THEN THE CHURCH THAT MENTORS THOSE HANDS WILL WIN IT!”
The M.O.M. Initiative is an acrostic for Mothers on a Mission to Mentor Other Mothers, to equip, enable and support women as they experience Titus 2 in real life. The M.O.M. Initiative not only helps mothers become the best moms possible, but exists to create a revolution of women who will become mothers on a mission to mentor other mothers and change this world one mom at a time.
I’m a part of The MOB Society writing team, where moms of boys write about mothering boys. This is transparent, practical and authentic writing by Jesus-loving moms from around the nation (and world!) . These moms are veterans of cleaning scraped knees, looking for boys in trees, and doing their best to funnel the energy of sons in positive ways. We love being boy-moms! We’re passionate about loving our families well and raising our sons to be godly men.
DO NOT DEPART
It’s not easy to abide in today’s world. With so much information and so many messages, the Truth tends to be drowned out in the noise. We need reliable resources to help us stand firm in our faith and walk God’s paths.
Do not depart. Abide. Remain.
The Bible is full of charges to stay close to Jesus, our source, supply and sustenance. Do Not Depart exists to help women do just that — stay close to Jesus. We pray that as readers browse the pages of Do Not Depart, they will be equipped and encouraged to cling to—to not depart from— the Word of Life.
DND provides Bible study resources and tools to equip women in their pursuit of knowing God and His word, to abide in Him.
